A lovely collection of architectural drawings that represent a more classic kind of design.

They seem to emanate a quiet, subtle kind of look. One that is less ornate but no less beautiful. Simple, but no less comfortable. I am not saying I wouldn’t want modern comforts, but you can have this look on the outside and the specifications that come with a tech home on the inside. A union that allows you to appreciate the good aspects of both sides. And I am not diminishing modern design as I like a lot of it.

I know you are supposed to work up to your favourite, but I am going to start with mine. That is the house on the lake. It’s a lovely little home and that you can enter from the path or the water. You probably have gorgeous views of the surroundings from when you first get up to the last view before you go to sleep. I would love to spend time/live in a place like that.

The other one I truly like are the steps in drawing 6. They have been worn with time and give that stepped alley a wonderful look. I know they are probably very slippery when they are wet, but I love the look.
