Design Stack: A Blog about Art, Design and Architecture: Ballpoint Pen Bic Portraits

Ballpoint pen bic portraits with a lot of detailing.
Soroush Jahdi drew all of the images on this page.
Drawing portraits involves many different skills on the part of the artist. One of them, as far as I am concerned, is the choice of the right face to depict.
The more interesting the model is, the more details they have on their face, the more expressive the look is and the more interesting the final piece is going to be. In other words: The better your reference, the better the chance your finished piece is going to be a good one. I am not just talking about the proficiency of the execution of the piece, but all the other aspects that make a drawing attractive and engaging to a viewer.
There is a lot of interest in these pieces and the proficiency of Jahdi’s application makes them a joy to view.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
