🐱Making Catty
So as you know from my previous post I got my DJ Catnip teddy, however he had a weird mechanism in him to make his legs move. It made him awfully hard, not good for cuddling. So that night I removed it, gave him some weighted beads, replaced his stuffing with nicer material, and also gave him a strawberry scent
At that point I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make him his long legs or not, but ultimately I decided to. This was a huge fixation project so I didn’t take any photos of the process
His legs are made from scrap fabric, a onesie that didn’t fit me, a discarded plushes fabric, and an old fitted sheet. It took me 2 days to make all his legs! He only has 4 out of 5 because I felt it was a bit crowded. The only thing I’d like to do otherwise is give him pom poms

When I was using the seam ripper to get his old legs off I full on stabbed myself, full strength, with this tiny thing. And instantly had blood spurting from my hand, and I’m not exaggerating, it was literally squirting out 
I had to hold my hand over the sink and just let it pour out for a few minutes, also because I was shocked, and trying not to pass out from the sight of all this blood coming out of me
Once it slowed down and I could finally see what the cut looked like ( because at this point after feeling how deep it went, seeing the blood, I was almost certain I’d need stitches ) only to see that the cut was…teeny tiny like a papercut lmao
My whole like thumb area is bruised now, it looks much worse in person, but now I pretty much can’t do anything. Can’t do the dishes, can’t play my Switch, can’t read. Very annoying haha. We will see if I am allowed to use a seam ripper again!
