Design Stack: A Blog about Art, Design and Architecture: Nighttime Charcoal Sketchbook Drawings

Nighttime scenes depicted with charcoal and contained in sketchbook drawings.
Himanshu drew all of the art you see on this page.
This is the second time we visited this fantastic artist and it really was a very happy return. The site contains so many wonderful drawings and plenty of videos to show how they are actually achieved.
We start the post with an amazing double feature. Two ships, galleons sailing on the seas. They are of different design, with different atmospheric conditions. Look how rough the sea on the left is.
The second sketch is a relatively simple one but really packs a lot of beauty. That is the moon/sunlight pouring into the forest. You don’t always need complexity for maximum effect.
Finally, as mentions are concerned, the wonderful water lilies in the pond. How beautiful and bright are they in the darkness of the rest of the scene?
More wonder is to be found in the drawings that follow the ones I just described.
Ps. I gave the images some titles.
