🎄2025 Advent: Day 10 & 11
Sorry in advance, I fully intended to do my posts while we were away for Eli’s birthday but when I tried downloading & logging in to the WordPress app on my phone it wouldn’t send me the verification text so I couldn’t post 
And I knew we would be doing lots of walking around so didn’t want to lug my iPad along. So very sorry about the delay!
Day 11
I don’t have a photo of Buddy thismorning since we were in a rush to leave, but he had spread out or Christmas lights more in the living room before being put in my partners bag to join us on the trip!
We actually managed to catch a train that was earlier then our planned one so we had some extra time to kill in Glasgow. Eli had a £5 off birthday voucher so took this opportunity to get Noel a gingerbread scent, new pair of pyjamas, and got a Christmas gift for someone while we were there! After that we were headed off onto our train to Aberdeen
I colored & played Animal Crossing on the train ride
Once we were in Abredeen we popped into a few charity shops on our way to the cafe we planned to get a drink at
I ended up only taking a few sips of my fancy hot chocolate because it was too fancy and I didn’t like it haha. This cafe was entirely vegan which was nice, I often won’t get drinks when we’re out unless I’m 100% sure because I’m so paranoid of being given real milk
Popped into a small bookshop on our way to the bus and saw a Sal
Then we were off to a museum located inside a university! It was fun to have a look around, even though it was small there was lots of animals there
We headed back into town and I made us take a peek in Toytown before having dinner because I am naughty…
For dinner we had Zizi’s since Eli gets his for free for his birthday! We shared the pizza & pasta but I much preferred the pasta. I’m not a cheese fan ( can’t eat real cheese but I’ve never liked the flavor anyways ) and this pizza had too much of it
We then checked into the hotel and chilled for a bit before going to see Five Nights At Freddy’s 2!
Day 11
Up the next morning with no breakfast in bed ( boo ) and had an awful sleep that night as well…the bed and pillows were awful, Eli enjoyed them at least though
Buddy was up playing the guitar this morning!
We walked through the centre to get to our breakfast destination
Where I had a tofu scramble wrap for breakfast which was soooo giant an amazing
Afterwards we hopped on a bus heading to Newborough in hopes of seeing sals…
And many a Sal was seen! Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of them
Once we were too cold to hang around we headed in to a little cafe where dreaded events would unfold afterwards…
Our bus back to the station…was cancelled. And it was school finishing time so the taxis were busy. After standing in the cold for 2 hours!!! We finally got a taxi that cost us a whopping £60 ( bus would have been £13 ), ontop of that we lost my card between the seats when pulling it out to pay and couldn’t find it even after the driver had pulled them out, and double ontop of that we had missed our scheduled train
But it all worked out! They let us on the train, I had a new card ordered, good times. My phone was dead by this time ( I only have a chord to charge it with, no outlet base and couldn’t find any USB chargers ) but I played Animal Crossing on the way home, and that was our trip!
